Six Questions w/David Ostiguy | The Importance of Defending Your Reputation from Negative Yelp Reviews

Hello guys and gals...I have the very first of many interviews with a friend I met at a conference last year. I was very impressed by his knowledge of SEO. And he plugged me into one of his latest products that discussed how to defend yourself against negative Yelp reviews. I was so impressed with the product that I had to interview him on this topic. So David Ostiguy is his name and he''s the first to go through my six question interview series. Please give him a round of applause for being the first under the gun with http://profitpathz.com

A Small Business Lesson from the Home Toilet

Now first of all...I don't mean to gross you out on the title. But once we jump in here, you'll see hopefully where I'm coming from as we look at a small business lesson from the home toilet. Google makes a Play for Entrepreneurs

Google, every once in awhile doesn't something different to their usual home page. Today they have this under the search field... Well...when you click the link, you will get to a place with several videos and information on how you can be involved in the next Google event. There are several local events to attend. Unfortunately, as I write this, I am kinda upset that I missed the event that just happened yesterday. I missed the Android founder, Rich Miner here in Boston. Not cool man! Oh well, I know there will be others to http://profitpathz.com

Roundups - And I Am Not Talking About Monsanto!

I'm thinking of doing "roundups." You know, those summaries that bloggers have been doing for years that gather all the good and interesting stuff from around the web on a particular topic? I would reserve these roundups for certain days, like "Social Media Monday Roundup." Topics I'm leaning towards are: Search Engine Optimization Social Media Blogging (along the internet marketing line) Looking for your feedback---would you like to see these? Different topics? Announcing: Plug 'n Ping

FYI---I just put together a short report that consists of two parts: Ping List Plugin List I call it "Plug 'n Ping" and it's a really great reference to have, especially if you want your web site to work for you. And who doesn't want that? It's NOT fancy. But it is meaty. And you can put both concepts to work in mere minutes (2-10 depending). The first part deals with a little-known and very-little-modded piece of the WordPress configuration---it's in settings and it's called Read more...

True Internet Marketing Gurus

[caption id="attachment_5907" align="aligncenter" width="500"] Internet Marketing Guru[/caption] As you might have been able to guess from some of my recent posts, most specifically A New Beginning and Internet Marketing Muscle 2.0, I'm going "back to the basics." I am as guilty---if not guiltier---as anybody in this space about spreading myself too thin, trying to do too much, and as soon as the next shiny object comes along, I'm drawn to it like a moth to a flame.
